About Akasa Journeys
More than 150 Journeys guided with care, compassion, and respect for the unfolding process
About the name "Akasa"
At Akasa Journeys, we hold space with the same spirit as the Sanskrit concept of Ākāśa (ah-kah-sha)—the subtle element of spaciousness and possibility, from which all else emerges. Ākāśa speaks to sky, space, and the vast field that contains everything. In that same way, we welcome you with openness, presence, and respect for your unique path.
Let’s begin with a conversation — I’m here to listen.

The Akasa Journey
The Akasa Journey
Since 2018, Akasa Journeys has supported over 150 psychedelic journeys guided with care, compassion, presence, and a commitment to safety.
We honor your process as it unfolds at your own pace, the speed of trust. Psychedelics are just one tool—sometimes a powerful one—but they are not the heart of the work. Healing is. What creates transformation is the process: your inner work, your intention, and your willingness to feel, reflect, and integrate.
A safe space for healing
We’re rooted in trauma-informed, somatic-based care, and we prioritize safety, compassion, and presence in everything we do. We meet you where you are, at your own pace, moving at the speed of trust. As Tim Freke says, “A heart assured of safety opens instantly.” That’s the space we cultivate—one where all parts of you are welcome: your joy and your pain, your questions and your clarity.
Psychedelics can open long-closed doors, offering glimpses of what’s possible when we soften our defenses and touch the deeper layers within—unconscious beliefs, emotional wounding, developmental trauma, attachment patterns, and other roots of our suffering. With care and guidance, this “feeling is healing” work becomes not just possible, but meaningful.
We’re here to support your process
This is not about chasing peak experiences—it’s about listening deeply to what the medicine reveals and honoring the work it invites. As McCall Erickson writes, “Soul work is not a high road. It’s a deep fall into an unforgiving darkness that won’t let you go until you find the song that sings you home.” We’re here to support your process of finding that song—and making it your own.
Medicine options, including dosage, are tailored to your intention. We like low-dose work, particularly with Relational Somatic Tuning, which is my own lighter version of PSIP. With years of lived experience and advanced training—including Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry, Rosen Method Bodywork, and other trauma-informed, body-based approaches—this work offers a steady foundation for meaningful change. We bring our full presence and attunement to each session, walking alongside you, co-creating your journey.
Akasa Journeys in the Media:
About Paul “PJ” Antico
I’ve been exploring my inner landscape throughout much of my life —through psychedelics, Jungian therapy and dreamwork, Rosen Method Bodywork, Family Constellations, Compassionate Inquiry, PSIP, Medicine Dance, and more. Even in my teens, I was the goto person when others were having difficult experiences.
My sensitivity and ability to be fully present in a safe, non-judgemental, compassionate and loving way meets my desire to support others on their individual healing and exploratory journeys.
My approach is informed by lived experience, training across multiple somatic and therapeutic modalities, and a deep respect for the mystery. I strive to meet others with safety, curiosity, and non-judgment—whether we are in ceremony, in conversation, or sitting in silence.
I’m an active participant in the psychedelic community—regularly facilitating integration circles, attending attending, as well as producing, educational and experiential healing and psychedelic oriented seminars and workshops.
With heart, presence, and acceptance, I hold space for your unfolding
I also collaborate with a small group of highly qualified female associates—each trauma-informed and experienced in this work. When a male/female team of guides is preferred, you can rest assured that you’ll be held with presence, care, and professionalism.
I’m not a licensed therapist. What I offer is a safely held relational space—centered in heart, acceptance, and attunement—where all parts of you are welcome. My role is to support your process as you reconnect with your own inner healer, befriending both the shadow and the light within.
Akasa Journeys does not provide or procure any illegal substances our focus is on healing, safety, education, and harm reduction. However, we can direct you on how to obtain or grow your own medicine if needed.
